the past two nights of the carnival have RULED.
last night were standing around in a circle doing nothing when it started to lightning. realizing it was novak's last night of the carnival, we looked at eachother and we were like "WE STILL NEED TO RIDE THAT ZIPPER TOGETHER!" so we did. we were at the tope when a big flash of lightning came. it was an awesome ride. minutes later it downpoured so we got soaked but it ruled.
tonight rocked because there weren't a lot of people but the people who were there were rad. i went on a ton of rides without getting nauseous. i went on the zipper with mo (it was her first time!) and with anthony...we flipped SO many times.
if anyone knows anything about a certain hnatiw show tomorrow then let me know!

what an amazing show.
prior we went to the USS chowder pot, it rocked but i ate fuckin' wayyy too much.
we get there and there's a MONDO line outside and we're like shit. so we get to the end. see some kid piss right before our very eyes, then run and trip and fall down the street.
color revolt opened up, they're cool and i think adam would like them. then men women and children played, and their set made me feel like a young child at a huge amusement park. i felt completely over-stimulated and as though i was about to have an epileptic fit, and yet it was awesome. imagine head automatic but with a better live performance and better sense of humor.
there we only two opening bands before brandnew played. seriously, brandnew is one of the best live bands i've seen. their set was AMAZING. i genuinely enjoyed every moment of it.

SO the past few days have been very cool.
i went to the city with trusha and met kelly on thursday. it was seriously quite dope. i even went on the subways since i'm rebellious, and i got an all day funpass! i still have it in my wallet since it's so special. it was funny when trusha lost her funpass, because we both had to walk through the turnstyle at the same time, but for some reason we were walking the wrong direction and we like walked into all these horizontal poles, needless to say the people behind us got really indignant with our idiocy.
i talked to some asian student while waiting 3 hours for my friends to get out of their FIT classes, because the shitty program director said NO WAY JOSE to allowing pals into classrooms with students, (clearly an anti punk pal.) he had a "my humps" ringtone so we exchanged a few words about that.
then we went to jambajuice, chipotle, h&m (where they played cascada!!!), then we went downtown, tried on gay clothes, looked for pals, trusha got hit on, looked for more pals, went to benny's burritos where i ate a repulsive amount of mexican food, "missed" the 8:06 train, took the 10:22 instead on which we sat next to a cool drunk middle aged man.
friday i went to a ska show at toquet, though i was sure it would suck. it was really enjoyable however. the music wasn't bad at all and i met some nice people. i also got a fantastic bruise on my leg that i got when i feel going up the stairs, but don't worry, on one was there to see it happen.
yesterday i watched beavis and butthead on you tube.
today i went and got my new ipod and it rules. i put it right in a case so it will never had a scratch on it EVER. then i went to CVS and bought some crucial shit, like iced tea, bobby pins, lipgloss and eyeliner.
right now i'm thinking about mo and her 10 hour play she's seeing.
TUES-FRI is easton carni, minus WED because i'm seeing brandnew!!!!!!!

i can probably give you guys (well at least some of you depending on how many come) rides back to my house. we could leave the beach at 11-1130, which is sweet because staying out late as fuck on the 4th is like the best part of the summer.
i think that someone should bring a stereo and cds maybe since my ipod speakers are weak.

the people are so different from us here. so many times i've found myself, by habit, saying, "i wanna sit outside," and getting apathetic responses, "no, let's go watch a movie." "what is there to do outside?"
everyone have an awesome time at KG tomorrow!!! i wish i could be there and i wanna hear all about it. i come home friday, which is the day before mo leaves, but i might get home too late which is quite irritating. i still wanna see everyone.
